"Orange Boy" is one of four black males in this litter. He weighed approximately 6 oz. at birth. He is an extremely outgoing and sociable puppy. He comes when called and will follow one to the ends of the earth with tail always wagging. He does exhibit an inquisitive nature and is neither timid nor fearful of new experiences. He approaches new obstacles cautiously but with a desire to investigate. His attention span is good at this age and he has demonstrated a willingness to retrieve, as well as enter water. He may have a tendency to be more headstrong than his other littermates, however, given his high level of sociability, with the proper training and handling he should bond very strongly with his new family. From a conformational standpoint, after doing my 6-7 week evaluation of the litter, Orange Boy is my pick of the males for being the best balanced and conformationally correct puppy. He has a well- domed head and I expect him to develop a beautiful, broad head characteristic of his English lines. His square muzzle is reminiscent of his mother's, as is his expression. He has good length of neck, a straight front, and good, well set-back shoulders with proper 90 degree angulation. Bone and substance is good. His topline , as well as his length of leg are moderate and combine to present a very balanced picture. His rear angulation is good, not straight as some of his littermates. I expect him to be well within the standard in terms of height and probably reach a mature weight of approximately 80-85 lbs. --- P.A. Davol
